12. Mr Lorne Campbell REID was born before 1828. About 1848 he was a Druggist.40 He lived Wellmeadow Street, High Parish, Paisley in Paisley about 1848.41 About 1848 he was a Druggist. [Occupation note: on entry of his Marriage in 1848] Before 1852 he was a Chemist.42 [Occupation note: was he in fact deceased before Marriage of daughter in 1874? Often not stated thus][UPDATE June 07: 1851 His wife Janet Reid was a widow aged 30]] He died before 1852. [Death note: his wife Janet was a widow on 1851 S census] [[General note: EBM Croker (nee Hoy) has a box which belonged to JC REID inscribed 'from your brother Lorne'. Campbell is a family name and if this Lorne Campbell REID is part of our family, he could have got married about this time, in this place][1841 S has a Campbell Reid bc 1821 in Dunbartonshire as a Student of Medicine: other youngish Reid live nearby in Clyde Street, Row. (Looking at others on page I would say that households have been mixed up). Also a Lorn Campbell bc 1828 living in the Gorbals with other Campbell inc Alexander 48 including an Alexander : therefore unlikely. ]]

What does this mean? Also he and Janet are in minority of entries with no ages given and no wedding date. The people in previous entry were married on July 11th.
