1. Mr William BALL was born about 1776 in Hammersmith.1,2,3 [[[Birth note: see Burial note. Aged 85 in 1861][1851 census aged 75 born Hammersmith][1861 Census aged 84, born Langley Bucks. Did a 'nearby' relative fill in 1861 Census or was 1851 incorrect? [General note: 1841 census has William Ball, Mary Ball: and Lucy Treadaway aged 70 : query Mother in Law](IGI LDS has a reference to Mary Treadway birth 1784 and married William Ball (death 1861) in Mox in 1805 !!!!!)(At the LMA (Mar 2006) we found a baptism of a Charlotte Ann Ball on 17 Feb 1805 at St Giles, Ickenham with parents Wm and Ann. We wonder if this is same family because no other Ball around at the time?????)
(Also at LMA there are several Ball baptisms (1800 to 1817) to William and Susannah Ball (living in Uxbridge). He is a Pastry Cook. This family could have been confused with ours??? St. Margaret, Uxbridge is not recorded on IGI. We cannot find these people on 1841 or 1851 censuses or references elsewhere!!)

Mr William BALL and Miss Susanna GOMM were married on 14 Oct 1798 in St Giles, Ickenham.5 [Marriage note: Parish register transcription by HFHS. Both of this Parish. Witnesses: Ann Fitzwater; John Weedon](IGI LDS has William bc 1773 and married Susanna Gom (bc 1777) on 14 Oct 1798) Miss Susanna GOMM was born before 4 Apr 1772.1 [[Birth note: Son William has mother Susanna][See Burial of Susan aged 54 in 1826]]
(IGI LDS also has bc 1777 of Ickenham with the marriage date to William Ball) She was christened on 5 Apr 1772 in Ruislip TBC.6 [Christening note: IGI LDS with parents John Gomm and Rebecka TBC !!]
(IGI LDS also has 25 Dec 1776 in Hillingdon with parents Wm Gomme and Anne. Does not tie in with proposed death date and age) She died before 25 Aug 1826. [Death note: Burial 25 Aug 1826] She was buried on 25 Aug 1826 in St Giles, Ickenham.7 [Burial note: aged 54 in Parish register transcription by HFHS] Mr William BALL and Miss Susanna GOMM had the following children:

Mr William BALL and Miss Mary Treadway 2ND W OF WILLIAM BALL were married in 1828 in Limehouse St Anne.8 [[[Marriage note: ? 2nd Marriage of William Ball?

Mary Ball on 1841 census][Pallot Marriage Index: Mary Treadway (not -Away) has 1823 on one record but other more likely is 1828 (Ball Wm. (Ickenham Mdx))][note Treadaway connections in Censuses with Ickenham]]] Miss Mary Treadway 2ND W OF WILLIAM BALL9 was born abt 1790 or c 1796 in Hillingdon.2,3,9 [[[[[[Birth note: 1841 census aged 45 in same household as William Ball][1851 census aged 55, wife of WB, born Hillingdon][1871 Census aged 77][1861 census has aged 67][BUT See headstone transcription of William Ball. It has Mary his wife died 1874 aged 84. Therefore born about 1790. This is a lot out.
